Journaling the Journey

Happy Thursday!

Reader,

Whatever endeavor we embark upon, I think it is always important to journal the journey. When I was in real estate, Brian Buffini, a trainer, always stressed that "you can't manage what you don't measure." That is true. And it is also true that we don't usually realize how far we have come unless we document the journey along the way.

I used to feel like I couldn't pray ... or I could, but I felt like my prayers weren't as effective as other people's. That is part of my testimony included in my #NoFear devotional, that I learned that God does hear me, he does listen to my prayers, and he does answer. I learned this in the middle of the darkest moment of my life up to that point.

But even still, I had to learn how to pray not in crisis. How to make it prayer a part of the rhythm of my life. So I began to keep a prayer journal. I bought a little notebook that I found at my church bookstore and I began to write the date and the things I was praying about. This was in the beginning.

But as I went on, and as I continued to attend my Bible study class at Second Baptist Church in Kingwood, surrounded by people who made the Lord a part of their daily life. Who not only knew that he was the one to go to in every situation, but that there was power in prayer when "two or more agree." They not only shared their needs with God, but also with fellow class members. It was being in community and being willing to humble oneself, not only before God, but with fellow members and to admit, "Hey, my life isn't all together. I need some help with this."

We Are Stronger Together

We were made to be in community. The church, and man kind as a whole, is intended to work together. One person can stand alone if they have the Lord, but that is not the way it is supposed to be.

I've realized that is part of the battle I've been facing. I'm not the only person ... not by a long shot ... that has been experiencing the attacks that I've been documenting in my updates for "Hacked: the Saga," but there is no connection and collaboration to fight the battle.

And that is why the criminals and reprobates are winning.

THEY are working as a team. Their victims have been trying to counteract the attacks on their own. This is by design.

Journaling the Journey

Last week in my Livestream in the second episode of "Defense Against Digital Dark Arts," I shared that I had discovered a resource on how to build an "investigative dossier." This resource was focused on journalism, but in the past week, I've researched the best ways to document a situation that will stand up in court.

That is what today's livestream is going to be about ... how to journal the journey of fighting back against the perpetrators and the tools you need in your toolkit. Today, I'm going to cover using Proton Sheets.

I hope you can join me. If not, be sure to catch it on the replay. Until next time.

Join me for the latest updated in "Hacked: the Saga," on "Journaling the Journey: Creating an Investigative Dossier in Proton Sheets"

The livestream will be at 6:00 pm EST / 5:00 pm CST / 3:00 pm PST on Thursday, January 15th. I hope you can join me.

Blessings,
